Amusingly enough, a club fair is how *I* got into fandom. (Y’see, I was walking by the college library and there was this table covered with tribbles…) Fortunately the club was new and not running conventions. THAT, I got shanghaied into later. 🙂
Don’t worry Scrappy. Eventually you’ll find something to do, like play a GameBoy. And as soon as you get wrapped up in it, like face a boss fight, a swarm of students will walk past.
