The Man in charge… never thought about how often it automatically defaults to the male pronoun in these situation… Thanks Trae, just what I need to lay awake thinking about tonight.
I find it rather amusing that given the shift in personnel, the “man in charge” now in fact refers to the one member on staff who can rival Lynn in terms if fierceness. This should be fun.
One reason I like being a 6’5″ guy, I rarely have to put up with this sort of bullshit.
One reason I don’t, I occasionally get called to assist when someone else does.
In my experience, it’s either the convention director or ops manager that steps in at this point. If they still refuse to leave, a legal contract is going to look better to the police than blatant intimidation. And it’s never a good idea to let stuff like this fly under the director’s nose, especially when it happens in a place attendees can see it. Head of security might be present as well depending on what happens.
UnCONventional is a comic that ran from December 2009 to December 2019 about the staff of a small town anime convention and their lives. This is a complete online archive of the comic.

Now, question. In this situation do you call the actual person running the con, or do you call the largest person(or veteran) on staff?
