Admit, I used to show up to anime club an hour early… get the computers unlocked, the projectors warmed up, and enjoy the quiet before all the other people showed up.
I used to get a lot of work done before the meeting start time. Also, it allows one to socialize so once the meeting starts you’re concentrating on business.
Mostly it was the socializing I showed up early to enjoy not happening. Too many people at anime club who do not have an indoor voice. The club had to more several times because of disrupting other people in the building… often on a different floor…
