Not many of said redeeming qualities. But the two that he’s demonstrated – competence and intolerance of -ist bs are pretty important. Lately (and about damn time, too) the latter has become a lot more important. Sure, bring him on – but I think it would absolutely require a “We need to just have it out about what has your panties in a twist” sorta meeting before making that call.
