  1. hehe it’s funny cause he doesn’t know who he is talking to

  2. Meanwhile, topless Elvis sets fire to the building…

  3. Here come a stupid ‘Well actually’ thing… would staff badges even have numbers like attendee ones? ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. In Bork Con’s reg system,

      1. Staff badges have numbers
      2. Badge numbers go with the people, so a person keeps their number year ro year even if they change badge types

      1. Thanks for the info. Our staff badges don’t have numbers, yet. When they do they’ll be separate from attendee numbers since they’re in different databases.

    2. Pretty much every furry convention, staff badges have numbers too. They’re not treated any different from attendees in that regard. Typically Anthrocon gives the Board of Directors the single-digits, though ours shift from year to year (I’ve been 2, 4, 6, and 7 in my years on the board). I was ‘2’ every year I was the reg director.

      1. Yes, our con badges had numbers just like regular attendees. Some people have the same badge number at multiple cons.

  4. Max should know Terrence if only by reputation.

  5. Laserlike focus on absolutely the wrong thing. Yeah, I’ve seen people like that.

    1. Like the teacher who yells at you for pda holing your so’s hand while students shes actually in charge of are#$@&ing in the dorm (pretty much what happened to me and my gf in hs)

      1. We were the hand holing couple to be clear

  6. It’s been a couple of months since I’ve had the feeling of anticipation for the next comic in a series. Congratulations, you’ve rekindled that feeling. I am very excited for the next strip. I see nerds on power trips every con, and I can’t wait to see Terrance get his comeuppance!

    1. Yeesss. Con staffers, volunteers, and attendees alike have encountered the Power Triper.

  7. 1. Why are there numbers on the badges?
    2. Why does the number follow the person? If they stop coming, is that number still skipped?
    I’m asking for a friend :-]

    1. 1. Many cons implement badge numbers, which allow lost badges to be returned to their owners, give the con an easy way to look up an attendee, and a a host of other advantages.
      2. Some cons have numbers follow people year to year (itโ€™s pretty easy to implement in an online reg system). And yes, if that person stops coming the number is skipped.
