The Revival – Warnings

Hey, it's November -- and while the special event is starting a few days late, it's still here! For the rest of the month this comic runs five days a week!

  1. I like the Lynn-Garner alliance. This has great potential~ Nothing says “friendship” like getting a Nazi some punching.
I do fear as to just what kind of “problem” Jim intends to be.

  2. How is this town pronounced? Traver-see, Travers-ee…

  3. Garner’s last line got me thinking. Jim in not confrontational otherwise he would have acted against Lynn and Garner by now. Then I remembered a Jim throwaway line about how he’s run the con continuously for 10 years through backstage actions. (I could say “manipulations” but I’m not sure I want to class Jim as a manipulator, though he is in many ways)

Faced with broken trust from a longtime con staffer (Garner) and a hand-picked addition (Lynn) and likely feeling he needs that trust to operate, I’m wondering if Jim is going to “not run and if elected, not serve” to semi-quote Lyndon Johnson.

    1. Oh I didn’t even think of him not running. That could be it.

I also don’t see the staff siding with Jim over Lynn and Garner so that is about his only play.
