To be clear Veronica didn’t cause the Bork Con’s money problems, but Jim showed with the way he runs Unagi Con that a problem personality can be handled and their strengths still utilized. But you need tools more subtle than a sledgehammer.
Most of ’em I think. Though to be honest since he’s only there to help his ego by taking credit for success and blaming other people for failure, actually getting involved in making it RUN would be counterproductive. Besides being a major Douche.
Had something like this happen when I was running a con. An ‘artist’ managed to get himself kicked out of our event for being a total arse. The next day they decided to clog our forums with a tirade about how we were ‘unfair’ to him. They decided to go onto just about every other convention forum they could find and post their same message. I spent the better part of 2 weeks tracking them down and posting our side.
Those like T-Douche above have a special place in heck awaiting for them.
